FAQ
Why don't you ship to my country?
Every country has its wildlife laws that cover the import and export of both living and deceased specimens. As we are not above these laws, we do our best to abide by them, which is why we only ship our 'boned' items within Canadian borders. And yes, while you can get permits for legal import and export on certain species to certain countries, the substantial cost for them compared to the cost of our work is just not feasible.
As for our 'boneless' pieces (stickers, works containing 3D resin printed bones, boneless jewellery), we are currently offering shipping into the US. Upon request we can look into shipping rates for other countries, so please reach out to us via our shop contact form if this is something you are interested in.
That all being said, there are many US and UK based artists who offer similar products to our own and we strongly suggest seeking them out and supporting their work.
Overall if you choose to buy from our shop and attempt to bypass federal wildlife, import/export laws by sending orders containing animal remains to a mail forwarding agency or another Canadian address to be shipped across international borders, not only will you void our refund/return policy completely but you may be susceptible to hefty fines or even jail time.
Is it legal to own animal remains in my province/territory?
Across Canada the laws protecting wildlife vary based on the province/territory you are in. Finding the laws online is not always easy, so the quickest way to get answers on what animal remains are legal to keep/what remains are illegal/what remains will need permits or other licensing is to call your local wildlife enforcement office.
We will not be held responsible for any additional charges, fines, or confiscated items due to your own negligence in these matters.
